EXCLUSIVE : Elicite.com Podcast feat WJD and Theme Designers from around the WORLD

| May 27, 2010 | Reply

Big ups to Elecite (elecite.com) for asking me (Wayne D) to partake in a huge podcast with other theme designers. I quickly agreed even though these guys are competition and I was weary for a second it doesn’t matter because in the end we are all the same guys and arguably the key to some awesome graphic designs in the future. I got to turn conversations with these guys and was the first time I ever met any of them. I have to say I am very pleased with all of them and have a much needed respect for all the designers that appeared. I came not to just to be heard but to push some good points and throw around good topics that need to be discussed. Once again a big thanks goes out to Elecite on putting this group together and I can’t wait for round 2 :)

Fights broke out! Riots ensued! 10 major cities burned to the ground and the global economy took a dip for an entire hour as we sought to bring you this exclusive podcast. We put together a Skype-roundtable discussion with all of your favorite BlackBerry designers to give you insight into the physical and creative process of theme design, our thoughts on the direction of RIM and end with a small discussion on building a stronger community for blackberry developers.

Participants included Danny (DannieLoco), Tony (Cocky Culture), Wayne (WJD Designs), Michael (Mac Citi), Peter (Elecite) and myself, Rob.

Had enough of everyone’s ugly mug? On to the podcast -

About the Author ()

I am the Owner/Founder of WJDDesigns.com & GizmoNinja.com , I was born in to a world that was emerging on the frontier of technology. Within time I self taught himself everything from coding to graphic design and wanted to bring my creations to the public by the masses. With the new growing world of mobile applications I could achieve just that. I am always looking to learn something new and provide the best service and information I can. I am really a cool and calm type of guy who is more of a lounge party setting then going to the loudest rock concert ever. When I go out to eat at fancy places the ambiance is what I comment on first, if the ambiance is poor then my food doesn’t go down as good. I look at everything around me that has different shapes and colors which creates ideas I use in my everyday projects. I try to live life to the fullest when life dishes out free time. I love to teach everyone I know who isn’t as tech literate as myself and give them more information to better their decisions. The progression in technology is life, it’s my life.
