Cyanogen makes Evo it’s tech slave

| July 16, 2010 | Reply

What is a tech slave you ask? Well a tech slave is what we have presented on the Evo with the new upcoming CM6 from Cyanogen. This guy should get a job at the Google Plex immediately! He has written in new modification to the already speedy OS Froyo (2.2 OS for Android Devices) to allow the Evo’s front facing and back facing camera to work. Right now he has beaten HTC’s public Froyo build that has the cameras working. He also implemented new mods that will allow you to hook up blue tooth devices to your Evo such as the MX Revolution Mouse that I have which is featured in the video below sporting an on screen arrow. Along with HMDI out enabled on your video device this could be the next best thing to a PC at a low cost. (granted you might have to wait to get your hands on one) The facts are that is has been done and is working but is right now not out for the public. What does this mean even if I don’t have the Evo? It means a lot to the android community since the CM6 rom can be ported much more easily then re written, if the technology is there then we will get it within time and patience on some Android devices out now. The WJD family would love to say thank you to this guy and his team, getting paid nothing but still providing for multiple users around the world and staying up late racking his brain to do so. About the Author ()

I am the Owner/Founder of & , I was born in to a world that was emerging on the frontier of technology. Within time I self taught himself everything from coding to graphic design and wanted to bring my creations to the public by the masses. With the new growing world of mobile applications I could achieve just that. I am always looking to learn something new and provide the best service and information I can. I am really a cool and calm type of guy who is more of a lounge party setting then going to the loudest rock concert ever. When I go out to eat at fancy places the ambiance is what I comment on first, if the ambiance is poor then my food doesn’t go down as good. I look at everything around me that has different shapes and colors which creates ideas I use in my everyday projects. I try to live life to the fullest when life dishes out free time. I love to teach everyone I know who isn’t as tech literate as myself and give them more information to better their decisions. The progression in technology is life, it’s my life.
