Desktop Manager 6.0: Have you been invited?

| July 22, 2010 | 2 Replies

So earlier today we found out that BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.0 will be available by invite to selected users who are signed up for The BlackBerry Beta Zone.  This version seems to be a few leaps and bounds above the former builds from the screen shots we can see below.  As you can see it bares a striking resemblance to the Desktop Manager software Mac users have grown to know.  First impressions from a couple of early invitees Ive spoke to seem to agree that 6.0 is more than a solid update.  I am personally very anxious to get my hands on this update and start taking advantage of the new media sync features, that is, if I get an invite.  Have you been invited?  Drop a comment and let us know.

RIM is moving at a really great pace lately when it comes to updating their software. The beta program is an excellent idea as it helps users get fast access to software and lets them know that they’re working hard to give users a better overall experience. The latest newcomer to the beta program is the upcoming BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0. The first invitations to join the program are going out, or have gone out today for Beta Zone members. Make sure to register today and hopefully you will get your invite.

Register for the Beta Zone at blackberry.com/beta and click through for more screenshots of Desktop Manager 6.
