HTC revenues boom, Android and Windows Mobile help.

| July 6, 2010 | Reply

Android sales have been good to HTC (High Tech Computer) as they have posted 1.88 billion dollars in quarterly income for the period of April through June. That is a 33% increase in their strong revenue, and exceeds their own quarterly projections of 1.6 billion. HTC gives all the credit to an increase in sales, which has no doubt been on the backs of their many different Android Devices on the market. We must also remember that HTC is the largest shipper of Windows Mobile devices as well, so even though Windows mobile seems somewhat outdated now with Android and Apples new O.S platforms, consumers still obviously buy Microsoft (just not the Kin Series).
