Rim Tablet- Good? Bad? What’s everyones take.

With all the blackberry guru’s out there I was wondering what everyone’s take is on the blackberry tablet “aka-blackpad”. There’s been hits all over the web about a RIM tablet coming out to the tech world. Most recent findings is that its very well possible of a November release. I’m sure we all know why RIM is planning on releasing a tablet, to compete with apple and the Ipad.  Now how well do you think the blackpad with the ipad?

Will the “blackpad” be a success or will it be a Fail. Honestly i n my opinion i feel that it could go either way. I feel that there will be a lot of users going out and buying it when 1st released, so it should be good for sales but the question is will they like it? We haven’t had much specs on it yet besides rumors like of a 9.7-inch screen, 1Ghz processor, with wifi and bluetooth. also the ability to connect to the blackberry device to get on the web as well. With reports from the Dailey news its speculated that it will possibly be around $499

Now as many of the blackberry users know right now that in recent years it seems Rim has been slacking in the mobile world. Taking forever to release updates whether they be for OS or even applications.  Now will the blackpad suffer the same wait time as the mobile devices, honestly i have a really good feeling that I’m sure it will.

Recently we have seen Rim grabbing up the Domain name Blackpad.com so i’m guessing that its a very good possibility that, that will be the name of the tablet. Not a very unique name i must say so my self but then again either is Ipad.

Now many may wonder if the Blackpad will be able to run the apps as your current blackberry does? Well I’m sure many of the applications will be ported over to the blackpad, but many may wonder what about Blackberry Messenger? Well I myself is wondering the same thing, because if you think about it the blackberry messenger running on the blackpad is almost like a desktop verison of bbm. I’m sure that they will have bbm working on the blackpad but honestly if you really think of it, it will be a oversized faster version of my blackberry.  Not really sure how every thing else will run i guess we will have to wait and find out. Will report back if anymore info is leaked.

I would love to see what everyone else’s thoughts are on the blackpad and if you think you will be going out and buying it.

If the blackpad has a different OS – non Blackberry – I would consider it.
