T-Mobile G2 Official Shots

| August 31, 2010 | 3 Replies
Rumors have been around about the G2 coming out for T-mobile and now we have some images of the upcoming device.  Now in my opinion looking at the device it sort looks like a little bit like the nexus one with a slide out keyboard.
As we heard earlier when the rumors first surfaced that this will be T-mobiles first HSPA+  it. The Device has a theoretical peak capability of 14.4 Mbp which is pretty decent.
Some of the specs for the device found over at Cellphonesignal.com are

The T-Mobile G2 will feature:

  • Android OS w/ HTC Sense
  • 3.7″ Active Matrix OLED display
  • 1 GHz Snapdragon Processor
  • Landscape slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • 5MP camera with autofocus.
  • 3G HSPA+
  • WiFi + Hotspot capabilities
  • aGPS
  • Bluetooth 2.1 + Enhanced Data Rate
So seem like pretty decent specs for a phone, but there are already some android phones out there right now with other carriers that have similar specs so is T-mobile behind in the mix? Hmm personally i feel that they are, there should have been phones like this out a long time ago maybe even this is what the G1 should have been.
Well Let us know what you think
We did it again, same as we were the first ones of obtaining the official pictures of the Samsung Vibrant, now we give you the first official pictures of the T-Mobile G2. As you know the T-Mobile G2 is going to be the first HSPA+ phone running speeds up to 11mbps. We believe the G2 will only come in one color.. silver, a completely different way when T-MO launched the Slide 3G or G1.

I think its a sexy little phone there! I am not a fan of sliders personally, but I’m sure this will do well for its target audience.
