At long last, Microsoft has released the Kinect focused Xbox Live Experience dashboard, with many cosmetic and feature changes.
Some of the key features of this update are;
- ESPN entertainment hub
- Zune Music
- Improved Party voice chat
- Improved Gamertag creation
- Improved in-dashboard virtual keyboard
- Improved Xbox Live Marketplace UI / browsing experience
- Easier wireless settings
- Sign out other controllers in mini-dashboard
- New browsing for 100% completed games
- New Family Settings
- Family Programming
- UI overhaul / font changes
Personally, this editor enjoyed the green / light green look of the original XBLE, but this new whiter look is nice, and in preparation for Kinect, I can understand why Microsoft went a little more family-friendly in the features and whatnot.

It’s out, right on schedule and it’s a biggie. The new Fall 2010 Xbox Live Dashboad update is being rolled out right now in preparation for Kinect to hit shelves on November 4th (or November 10th in Europe). The update includes Netflix search, Zune music, an ESPN entertainment hub, and much much more.
