Gizmodo has gotten their hands on a leaked image of a 4g LTE Samsung phone on Verizon running Android 2.2 and TouchWiz. This, in addition to the leaks of HTC and Motorola devices already, certainly bodes well for a strong lineup of LTE Android phones on Verizon next year. We should find out more info about these at CES, which can’t come soon enough in our opinion. Oh did we mention this looks like it has a front facing camera, a first for Verizon? Also, according to Giz’s sources, its doesn’t run Bing which would be another first for a Samsung Android phone on Verizon. We will have to see how that info pans out. Are you more likely to go with a Samsung Android phone over the others or are you partial to HTC and Motorola’s offerings? Let us know what you think in the comments!
Looks like Verizon’ll have plenty of Android phonesrunning around on 4G LTEsoon enough. Here’s a first look at Samsung’s, running Froyo and TouchWiz (but according to our tipster, not Bing!). Aaaand a front-facing camera, Verizon’s first.
By last count, that means we can likely expect to see LTE Android phones fromHTC, Samsung andMotorola, possibly all announced at CES in just a couple of weeks. We can’t wait after seeing what Verizon’s LTE can do, but we can only wonder what the battery life is gonna be like on these things. [Thanks tipster!]
