Well that was fast! Today Google posted the 2.6.35 Linux kernel source for the yet unreleased Nexus S! How is this good news for you and I? This gives the Android Developers out there a head start at looking deeper in to the phone. Anyone else as surprised as us with the release of the kernel source? Anyone go get it yet? Drop us a comment and let us know.
Google has just posted the 2.6.35 Linux kernel source for the Nexus S to its git repository. Not only is this Step 1 in the release path for the phone itself, but it gives developers (and developers-in-training) a head start to hacking away at the device.
With that being said, let’s get to it. Hit the Nexus S ROMs and Hacks forum, and we can work together getting our development computers up and ready to go to work on the Nexus S as soon as it’s here. See you there! [@dnaltews via @romainguy]
