BlackBerry Storm 3 pics and specs revealed?

| January 14, 2011 | Reply

Keeping up with all the latest excitement surrounding RIM’s 2011 BlackBerry lineup we are now seemingly taking a look at the upcoming Storm 3 device in all its beefed up glory.  It seems as though the previously leaked photos of the next generation Storm device are certainly right on the money from what you will see below.  RIM appears to be taking more of an aggressive stance with the Storm 3 which you will see by taking a look at the specs.  Perhaps among the most impressive is that this device will have the highest resolution screen of any BlackBerry device with its 800 x 480 pixel display.  Combine that with a 1.2 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording, and the latest Software in BlackBerry OS 6.1 and you have got yourself a serious contender in today’s smartphone market.  Kudos to RIM for bringing their devices up to par with what seems like a great addition to their already impressive 2011 lineup!  Check out the pics and specs below courtesy of BGR and let us know what you think.  Storm owners, is this the powerhouse you were waiting for, or is there something bigger and better for you on the horizon?
