BlackBerry wants to show us their new curves

BlackBerry 93xx & 85xx users that have been holding onto your prize devices for what may seem like an eternity now could soon have a really good reason to upgrade.  What we are seeing below is a leaked shot of the next generation BlackBerry Curve device (codenamed Apollo), and this once considered “lower end” device is packing some serious heat.  The new curve is said to feature a 480 x 360 screen, it will now sport a 5 megapixel camera and NFC to boot!  Nothing has been made official yet, but we imagine BlackBerry has to start moving on these new devices sooner than later as they seem to be a little behind the “Curve”. (sorry…)  Check out the pic and spec list below and let us know what you think of the new Curve.

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
  • Tri-band UMTS/HSPA 7.2Mbps
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • GPS

  • 5-megapixel camera with flash
  • HVGA 480 x 360 display
  • 1050 mAh battery
  • Tavor MG-1 800MHz CPU
  • BlackBerry OS 6.1
  • 11mm thin
