HTC Thunderbolt gets handled and benchmarked!

| January 5, 2011 | 2 Replies

Looks like the upcoming HTC Thunderbolt got a little hands on love by AndroidSpin.  They were able to get a few confirmations on the Specs, as well as run a Quadrant Benchmark on it as well.  Now by now we all know that Quadrant benchmarks are easily manipulated and don’t mean much, but they did it anyways.

Confirmed Specs:

ARM v7 processor, Single Core, 1 Ghz 8 GB internal memory, (32gb sd card included.
4.3 inch screen.
NO HDMI port.
8 MP rear camera.
1.3 MP front.
Runs the new HTC Sense UI on top of Android 2.1.2
HTC Maps and Navigation is included.
DLNA support via an HTC preinstalled app

So is anybody excited about getting it? Or have the specs turned you away?

I have to admit the specs are a little disappointing after what was “leaked”. I probably will wait for the duel core processor myself. This all depends on when this device will be released and this being affected by Verizons new phone plan.

I rather get the new Motorola Bionic, again HTC cannot come close to Motorola.
