BeejiveIM for Android Updated to 2.0.0

| February 1, 2011 | Reply

For those of you not familiar, BeejiveIM is a wonderful app that lets you log in to a bunch of IM clients, such as AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk, and Facebook, just to name a few. Besides that, there is plenty of room for customization, such as background options and themes.¬† There’s an update in the Android Market, which brings us to 2.0.0. The update includes some neat new features. First, it has the ability to send your current location. You know, so all your pals can stalk you. I intend to use that feature a lot. Next, there’s an updated chat screen. There’s also a better integration with the Facebook App and the option to add a “send” button to the chat¬† bubble, as well as various bug fixes. I’ve taken some screenshots below to show you the before and after, basically the standard look and what you can do with the background and theme options. For those of you that weren’t aware, I’m a big fan of purple.

BeejiveIM is available for $9.99 in the Android Market, at Appbrain here, or you can use the QR code below.
