While it has been debated quite a bit as to whether Android Honeycomb will be coming to phones in its current incarnation or whether it will be tablet only, this hasn’t stopped those crazy developers over at XDA Developers as they have successfully ported the new operating system to the Nexus One before it has even hit a retail shelf.
This is the first time that Honeycomb has been shown working on a phone as opposed to a tablet. Since it is a raw port direct from the SDK, it is considered severely broken in its current state, but it is a promising beginning to getting the Honeycomb experience on a phone.
