Live from HP’s Event, the HP Pre 3 was just announced. Taking a similar shape to its former self the Pre 3 is the first in the line-up to officially drop any and all Palm branding. The Pre 3 is a full QWERTY slider that has a 3.6″ (800×480) display, a 5 Megapixel camera with AF and LED flash, HD video recording is also on board as well as a front-facing camera to make use of video calling and a mobile hotspot. Other enhancements to this device is that it will be running a Qualcomm CPU at 1.4 GHz (yes 1.4 GHz) and it is a world phone running EVDO Rev A and HSPA+ with the same amount of RAM as the Pre 2 (which is scheduled for pre-order this week on Verizon) at 512MB. Best of all, it will have some very interesting compatibility features to use with their upcoming TouchPad. More details will be coming down the pipeline, but check out the image below and let us know what you think of (HP’s) Pre 3.
