So much for the recent rumors that Verizon would not be going down the Windows Phone 7 path. We saw Sprint will be offering the HTC Arrive March 20th, so could that have been the spark that lit Verizon to potentially change their mind? We heard earlier rumors dating back to last year that touted Bid Red offering the HTC Trophy in “early Q1″ as it’s first Windows Phone 7 device, but thanks to our friends over at Engadget via WinRumors it seems as though they have narrowed down the launch to late March. They also mention that the expected Verizon announcement could be as early as this coming Monday, February 28th. So far there is no further information available regarding pricing or specific availability, but the long awaited “copy/paste” update is rumored to come preloaded. Keep it here as more details unfold and be sure to sound off in the comments with your thoughts on the HTC Trophy that may be landing from Big Red sooner than we thought.
