In the wake of ipad 2 launch, Galaxy Tab for Verizon drops to $199

It seems the ipad 2 is making changes already and it’s starting with a price drop of Verizon’s Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab today has dropped to a mere $199 with a 2-year contract today in the wake of the ipad 2 launch which seems to be setting up to sell well. When the Galaxy Tab launched, Verizon’s model was the most expensive being sold at an unsubsidized price at $599 with no other options initially. Now, it is the cheapest model out of all the carriers at this current time. There’s also rumors saying that the wifi-only model will launch sometime in April at $399. As those wanting to get into the tablet world this isn’t a bad deal for the 3G model or wifi model, but with the next generation of the Galaxy tab closing in, is it worth it?
