Big milestone for WP7 today; they have officially hit 10,000 applications. Reaching this clean number in just four and a half months – faster than the Android Market, the iTunes App Store, or the BlackBerry App World – Microsoft has been adding about 1,000 apps per week since it hit 5,000 just before the New Year. This is great news for WP7 users, giving them an excellent selection of apps – however, WP7 has still yet to draw big gun developers like Rovio or Backflip Studios. (officially, anyways)
Maybe this will kick Microsoft into gear to get their apps running in less time than it takes to get the phone to boot up?
