Samsung Galaxy S Gingerbread source code released

Frustrating. That would be the work to describe all of this. For months, people complained about Sammy and their lack of updates for the Gal S series phones. Last week, Sammy threw up the Froyo source code for the Verizon version of the phone, the fascinate ahead of Verizon shipping the update out to people. Today, Samsung decided to share it’s I-9000 source code for gingerbread. It’s strange that they have in the past two weeks decided to step up the availability and help to the consumer. Maybe this is to let the public know the hacking community can rest easy in knowing the Galaxy S 2 will support plenty of roms. Head on over to Samsung and download the files for yourself.
