Skype fixes secutiry issues – Adds 3g calling to app

| April 20, 2011 | Reply

The devs over at Skype have released an updated version of its mobile app for android patching the security flaws that were previously discovered by Jcase. It’s nice that they were pretty quick on it. I don’t know if it was a make up deal or what, but now you can place skype calls over 3g as well as on wifi. Make sure you are aware that it will still use your minutes from your plan. Head on over to the market and update or reinstall the app. As far as the people with the leaked version of skype with video for the Thunderbolt you may want to hold off.
