Ford is going to use Google to tell you how to drive

Googles predictive API is pretty amazing. It can collect a number of amounts of data and make a predction based on given data. Ford will plan to implement this into it’s future vehicles and EV’s.

What the blue oval plans to do is collect information based on weather, traffic, driving history and some other information to help you decide how to make your commute the most efficient. This will become increasingly important as the United States moves to more and more electric powered vehicles with limited range. Ford will have a lot more information on this tomorrow when it will debut its concept version of the system at I/O.
