HP Veer 4G Palm OS Device Officially Announced By AT&T

| May 4, 2011 | 2 Replies

AT&T has officially announced that they will be carrying the HP Veer 4G starting May 15th. The Veer 4G is HP’s first release of a Palm webOS (now HP webOS) phone not called Pre or Pixi since their aquisition of Palm on July 1st, 2010. As you can see from the picture, it looks very similar to the Palm Pre.

The device sports a 2.6-inch 320 x 400 display, an 800MHz Snapdragon processor and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It is the size of a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards. HP is billing it as the smallest full-featured HP webOS smartphone to date. It will be AT&T’s first webOS device.

The phone will be available in black or white and will cost $99.99 on a two-year contract.

This will not be the first WebOS they had both the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus.

Besides that a white phone is just ugly! Get real OEM’s…
