HTC announces via facebook they will no longer lock bootloaders. Your turn, Moto.

In a move that wasn’t really expected by anyone, HTC will no longer lock bootloaders. No word on what will happen to the phones that are locked right now. A few days ago a petition online was started, and HTC responded by saying they would look into the policy. At best, most of us were thinking it would be months before we heard anything. The dev community all around can be a bit happy tonight. It’s nice to see our voice be heard, and responded to. Hopefully Motorola is watching. As of now, HTC has over 1500 likes on the comment a mere 35 minutes into the comment.
