HTC’s foray into the Android tablet game begins with the 7-inch HTC Flyer on May 22nd. The 16GB WiFi-only tablet that we talked about back in February will launch exclusively at Best Buy this coming Sunday (wait, will we still be here on Sunday?!) with a $500 price tag.
One feature that sets the Flyer apart from other Android tablets is that it has a nifty stylus accessory that allows you to do various things, utilizing “HTC Scribe Technology”. Check out the video below for an idea on what it’s all about (stylus at around the 1:10 mark):
One thing though… The stylus doesn’t actually come with the device. If you want to unleash the magic of HTC’s Scribe Technology you’ll have to drop an additional $80 for the stylus. I guess we’ll find out if that’s a good decision by HTC or not…
What do you think? Will the Flyer be a success? Are you thinking about grabbing one? What about this whole stylus thing?
