The FCC records show that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is sporting a super thin 8.6 mm thickness (as compared to the iPad 2 at 8.8mm), a model number of GT-P7510 and has a silver hue on the upper side of the rear area.
Some additional features are:
- Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS
- Dual-core 1GHz processor
- Up to 32GB of internal memory
- 2 MP front facing camera
- 3 MP rear camera
- A 6,860 mAh battery (10 hours of life)
- 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi
- GPS support
It is not known whether this particular one is a 3G/4G model or the WiFi-only one.
As stated above, there are rumors of a June 8th release. The 16GB version could sell for $500 and the 32GB model for $600.
I don’t know how you cannot be excited about Samsung’s upcoming tablet offerings, I know I am… I’m particularly interested in the 8.9 model, as I think that would be a perfect size for me.
