Sony is serious about helping you with custom kernels – tells you how to do it.

Sony is really pushing to be the phone maker for the dev community. They offer up open boot loading tools, and now they want to teach you how to run a custom kernel step by step on its newer phones. Why are they doing this? Well I think they pissed plenty of people off with the ps3 fiasco, and they know the rom manager app is on a quarter million phones. They have even gotten going on XDA to answer questions and give help on customization. In a perfect world Moto, Samsung and HTC would follow suit. But don’t count on it.
