Water-cooled PC built into desk = Awesome!

We don’t really cover much PC news here but I couldn’t pass this one up.

The picture you see above is the “L3p D3sk”, an entry in the Cooler Master 2011 Case Mod Competition. This beauty was built by a guy named Peter, from the Netherlands.  It’s a water-cooled monster of a PC built directly into a glass-top desk, and as you can see it looks pretty sweet. And beyond the slick look of the built from scratch, completely aluminum, UV-light rig are some amazing specs.

It has an overclock potential of 4.5GHz+ thanks to an Intel Core i7-980x, graphics driven by two ASUS GeForce GTX 580 graphics cards in SLI and over 12TB of storage space with an SSD boot disk. As mentioned before the entire thing is water cooled, via an Aquacomputer Evo 1080 radiator located under the floor - and there is a total of 17 fans to boot. Powering all of the components are two power supplies totalling 1,500 Watts. Of course, you need something nice for the fruits of these awesome components to be displayed on – A 27-inch U2711 IPS monitor  and two 17-inch  Dell 1703 monitors take care of that.

I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t mind computing on this high powered beauty of a PC/desk!

Check out the full specs below:
