Sad about the lack of video calling on Skype for Android phones? Well.. here is one more reason to worry about the future of Skype.

It seems Microsoft has pushed a patent through that describes various methods of recording VOIP conversations. Apparently, this is a more detailed patent than usually registered by Microsoft. Not only is Skype being targeted, the patent seems to aim at everything using similar technology. Video game chats (XBox Live) along with other communicative products are mentioned in the patent papers.
