ASUS had some issues in May with sellouts at BestBuy, Target and Amazon for the Eee Transformer tablet. This let to price gouging and lower than projected sales. The company vowed to ramp up production of its tablet for June, and now says they will ship over a quarter of a million of the units which will be second only to the Ipad2. This will bring 10% of ASUS total sales from the tablet in just its third month of release. What does that mean for the Android tablet market? Good and bad. Great that people are finally catching on to one tablet that is priced well, has the perfect accessory in the keyboard dock and should help more tablet apps come to life. Bad in the fact it has taken this long for an Android tablet to finally start living up to the hype. We will be getting a Transformer shortly and should have some reviews up soon after.
