Acer takes a step back from the 5-7 million tablets they thought they would sell this year

Things aren’t going so great over at Acer right now. Overall sales are down 30%, stock is down and now they are revealing that the estimated 5-7 million tablets they wanted to sell will be about half of that. The company plans to sell 800,000 tablets each of the third and fourth quarters to boost overall sales. Acer does have a new CEO as of March so they will likely do more to boost sales, but it will need to be a lot. I have no doubt a company as large as Acer can get back on track.
