WWDC Survey shows iOS devs are branching out

| June 14, 2011 | Reply

In a study conducted at WWDC, the overall tone seemed to show that most companies enjoy the Ipad and Android for branching out. 92% of iOS devs reported developing for the Ipad as well as the Iphone. The average attendant had 7 apps int he app store. 47% of the developers were also developing for Android. 40% of the developers also thought that Android had the best potential for growth. In the bottom of the report you can see that most devs do not like the restrictions and approval process of the app store as well. The numbers are quite a bit different from just a few years ago, as you can see in the graphic.
