Apple To Open A Store At Grand Central Station

| July 25, 2011 | Reply

Apple has inked a deal to take over a spot leased by Charlie Palmer’s Metrazur restaurant and throw up a 23,000 square foot store in the station. This will be the largest Apple store to date and will cost Apple about $800,000 per year to lease the place. If they carry out the 10 year lease and renew the deal will swell to over 1 milion dollars per year for the lease. The deal should be approved this week by the Transit Authority.
