[CM7 Theme] Forbidden

| July 25, 2011 | Reply

The guys over at MagnaM0d.com have been working hard on their Android Market début with their Forbidden theme for Cyanogenmod’s Theme Chooser. The fruits of their labor have finally been realized, and Forbidden is now in the Market for your enjoyment.

Forbidden is a dark grey, deep red and gold highlights theme that has quality written all over it. MagnaM0d has themed about 50 icons/apps, ranging from the notification shade to the Google+ widget, to match the theme colors. The colors that they choose for this theme really look good together, and I really dig the gold! Add the beautiful wallpaper that they created specifically for the theme and you have yourself one slick-looking theme.

If you’re running a device running CM7 and are looking for a new theme, this is one you should definitely check out. There is a free version and a donation version as well. Each are the same application with nothing more added to the donation version. I know you’re all good boy scouts who will grab the donation version if you like it and decide to keep it, though. ;)

Just follow one of the links below to download and install from the Android Market and launch Theme Chooser to apply the theme. And don’t forget to grab the custom wallpaper to complete the look (link also below)!

NOTE: If you get a message saying “Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device’s screen size” when applying the theme, just hit “Apply anyway”. This occurs on phones with irregular sized screens, like the Droid X, but the theme will install fine.
