Here’s a fun tidbit. Facebook has decided, instead of a nice “thank you very much,” to start paying anyone who uncovers a weakness in their code that could compromise user data. They’re willing to pay upwards of $500, and have a few rules in order to qualify, including being the first to report it and giving them time to fix it before going public.
