Google Voice Spam Filter Works Before Calls Reach Your Phone

| July 13, 2011 | Reply

Did you mark some voice mails or calls in your Google Voice app as spam, only to wonder what the point is? Well the answer is here. Google has been collecting this data and has a huge database of spam numbers. From here on out if you select the global spam filtering option any calls, texts or voice mails that head to your phone will auto run into your spam folder. Pretty neat right?! I think the only main issue is you’d have to make sure Google Voice is used as your main voice mail or phone provider.
