Remember being young and getting on your big wheel or Power Wheels and trying to be the fastest kid on the block? I don’t, I was poor and had neither. But I do know that watching these power wheels races is a lot of fun here at Maker. While the racecars look pretty close to the old powerwheels you might have had, they are anything but. With a spending limit of $500 the teams rip these power wheels apart and add newer more powerful electric motors, batteries and faster wheels. They compete in drag races, lap times and an endurance race to see whose racer can last the longest. Much of the stuff, like the last story, are things that you would want to do as a manchild (or woman, sorry Sarah).
