If You’d Like An OSX Lion install Disk Or Flash Drive Use Lion DiskMaker

Since Apple has decided that┬áDVD┬ádrives and the like are past tense, right now you have to download the new OS and install straight from your hard drive. Apple will sell a flash drive with the OS to you, but it’s $70. So if you have your own flash drive or an outdated computer with a media drive you can burn a copy of the disk that will work as a bootable image.

If you do use a flash drive, keep in mind the app will wipe the contents of the flash drive. Other than that, its pretty straight forward and you can check the website for details. There is no cost for the app, but you could probably donate a few dollars as a thank you.
