So, I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but there’s this little gadget hitting the US market in the coming weeks. It’s put out by Samsung. Galaxy. S II. Ringing any bells?
Here’s a quick overview:
- Sprint wins the race to debut the Galaxy S II stateside, with the Epic 4G Touch. We reported the specs a couple weeks ago, but to review: a 4.52 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, and 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. You can pick yours up for $199.99 with a 2-year contract, starting on Sept 16th. Bonus: You can pre-order the device now, at any participating Sprint store, with the purchase of a $50 gift card. - T-Mobile also officially announced their Galaxy S II device today, though with no specific release date. We’ll keep checking for updates and keep you posted. Source: androidcentral
- AT&T came to the party today too, announcing their version of the Galaxy S II. No price as of yet, but we do know the release date will be Sept 18th. One thing to note, the AT&T version has a smaller screen than other S II versions, but also appears to be thinner than other models, sliding in at 8.9mm. Source: androidcentral
