The HTC Omega Wants You To Try Windows Phone 7 Mango

It looks like HTC is sticking with WP7 and is kicking up the specs of the phones they will offer. While the specs of the Omega wont seem like much to most android enthusiasts who are now obsessed with 4.5 inch screens and dual core, Omega still has nice specs. And remember, WP7 requires a lot less power to run. That being said here are the specs:

  • Windows Phone 7 Mango
  • 3.8-inch SLCD display
  • 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 single-core processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash
  • Front-facing camera
  • DLNA compatibility
  • Micro-HDMI output

I am interested to know how the hdmi out will work. And the RAM seems low but once again, this isn’t Android. If you prefer a giant screen the HTC Eternity is set to be announced soon as well with a 4.7 inch screen. September is going to be a fun time for cell phones!
