I saw a quick blurb about this phone on a couple of website last week and kind of passed it by awaiting more than just a rumor. Today some leaked shots of the phone in the wild and certain specs have come out. Check the specs out:
Optimus LTE packs a 4.5-inch LCD IPS HD display with 1280x720p resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon processor, two cameras a 8MP camera on the back and a 1.3 VGA camera in front, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory storage and a 1830mAh battery all running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwhich 2.4.0 when it will be available.
Seems pretty impressive doesn’t it? the only gripes I guess I could have is the low end front facing camera and no NFC. The IPS display recently won some awards besting the Galaxy S2 SAMOLED+ screen we have all wanted for months now. In these shots I am not sure about the back texture or the look of the front facing buttons, but those may not be final in the US version of the phone. The phone is set to be released next week in Korea and early in October abroad. Look out for this to land on Verizons LTE network.
