Nielson Publishes Most-Used Android Apps…Hint: You’ll See a Few Google Apps on the List

| September 13, 2011 | Reply

The people at Nielsen not only tell us what we’re watching on TV, but they now also tell us which Android apps are being used most often by Android smartphone users.  The information is pretty interesting, and Google apps are clearly the most used amongst us Android-lovers. Some other obvious favorites? Pandora, Angry Birds (did they poll my kid?), Facebook, Words with Friends (did they poll me?), YouTube, and Twitter (they must have polled Lady Gaga). As androidguys points out, Amazon is doing a pretty good job at keeping our Android-loving attention, making appearances with both the Amazon Appstore and Kindle in the top 20.
