Samsung And Google Have Something Planned For Oct. 11th, Nexus Prime Release Date To Be Announced With Ice Cream Sandwich?
Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt doesn’t like the name Ice Cream Sandwich for the newest version of Android OS set to release in the next couple months. Eric does like new shiny Nexus phones to release new OS’s on though. This time, Samsung and Google want you to “get a look at what’s new from Android”. There have been plenty of rumors as to what the next Nexus phone will be or when Ice Cream Sandwich will ship and on what device. One interesting note, there is no mention of Verizon on this flyer. That doesn’t mean they wont be the first carrier for the Nexus Prime but you would think they would want in on the announcement action. We will find out all of the juicy details in just a couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
