The iPad is what most measure all tablets against. If that’s the case, Amazon is hot on the trail of being a success before it even ships. Reports are that the Kindle Fire is almost at 100,000 units ordered in its first week of being announced. The tablet doesn’t ship until mid November and it just may surpass iPad’s 300,000 debut sales. Why will the Kindle Fire be a success when it doesn’t have 3g,4g or a camera? That’s a pretty easy one. Money. It’s $199 and has a nice UI that looks like Android should on a tablet. Not to mention the availability of tons of apps, free movies and a cloud music storage system that works quite well. OH, and the books too, right?
