Direct Connect on Sprint With the New Motorola Admiral

Remember a couple of weeks ago we took a little trip down Memory Lane? I regaled you with stories of my first foray into Direct Connect with my fancy silver Nextel, everyone had them…remember? Fast forward about 8 years and Sprint has just announced the Motorola Admiral, one of its new line of Direct Connect phones. Available in stores on October 23, for $99 on contract (with $50 rebate), or via all Sprint channels on November 13.

If you’re in the market for a new Direct Connect phone, you’re probably saying, “bring on the specs!”:

  • 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture, flash and 4x zoom
