Google Maps Updated in Support of ICS Beam

Although not specifically part of the change logs, the guys at androidcentral point out that the updates listed in the change log (permissions updates) are in support of NFC (near field communications) – required to use Beam. Viola! Permissions updates that support NFC, which just so happens to be required to use Beam, seem to indicate Beam support has been added to Google Maps.
