As most people know, Google started out as a small college search engine that went public and helped give us better results that were more relevant then finding just one keyword in a search and posting results that were highly inaccurate. Now Google seems to be everywhere doing everything.

In the video below you can hear some of the thoughts and ideas behind the growth for the search giant. I thought a very interesting part was the discussion about 9/11 and how Google failed as a search engine on that day to give people the news they wanted. If you think of that and now how a news ticker or live twitter feed about a particular topic you search on just shows up that is pretty remarkable. It”s only been about 10 years that many of us has used Google, and it should be interesting to see what the future holds.
