That iconic drilling noise and smell at the dentist when you get a filling will soon be a thing of the past. Scientists at the University of Missouri now have a way to make fillings stronger painless and cheaper. The process uses a a new plasma brush that disinfects and cleans out cavities, killing bacterias and forming a better bond for the fillings. Another great part is that it only takes about 30 seconds. So you could be in and out of your dentist on your lunch break with no pain and no need to be all dopey from the injections they use for numbing. The process has had no side effects and should start to hit the public sometime in 2013 if we are all lucky.
