Shared Data Plans May Be Coming To Verizon Wireless In 2012

| December 7, 2011 | Reply

New information suggests that Verizon Wireless is planning to finally give their customers something that many have been clamoring for – Shared data plans.

Verizon CEO, Lowell McAdam, recently told the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference, “”I think in 2012 we will see it… Getting to one bill and getting to account-level pricing is our goal.”. Sharing data the way you can with minutes on family plans is something that could make sense for a lot of people, especially those on family plans who are signed up for data plans but don’t use very much data between them.
