In Japan You Can Now Purchase A 100Mbps Mobile Hotspot

If most of the readers didn’t already know, the US is pretty far behind most other technology addicted countries in average internet speed. in japan, a company named eAccess is launching this month with a possible speed of wireless 300Mbps. Maybe Apple was talking about Japan when they mentioned the new iPad could reach speeds of 75Mbps over 4g.

Enter Huawei and their new hotspot, the E589FDD. Its a hotspot capable of handling up to 10 devices at 100Mbps. Here in the US, we don’t have the wireless spectrum available to handle these speeds so we can’t really blame our carriers or technology. If we were capable of such speeds, imagine the cost of the data plans Verizon and the like would demand? It’s scary to even consider, eek.
