Windows Mobile Marketplace Closing May 9th

| March 9, 2012 | Reply

The time it came out, Windows Mobile was a pretty good step in the right direction for smartphones. The OS allowed you to accomplish some things that weren’t really possible before. This included an online market full of applications by various developers to enhance your mobile experience. The mistake Microsoft made of course was the same that Blackberry has made now. They let success get to their head. They didn’t change what they were giving out to reflect the growing needs of the consumer and became a joke for anyone who owned one. MS is finally shuttering the doors on the Market for windows mobile, and it couldn’t come soon enough. I assume none of our readers still use one of these phones but if you do….time to move on.
